Not looking good

Hey all,

Well we got a phone call yesterday from Gladney letting us know that MOWA has decided to take two weeks off for some stuff(even though rainy season starts in mid august until late october). What that means is that our court date which was supposed to be next week is no longer. And now we have to wait till they reOpen to give us a new court date.. basically the odds of that happening before rainy season are grim.. I'm sad and REALLY wanted our son to come home soon. I know God is sovereign but it's still hard. I trust HIS timing but pray that it would be sooner than later. Keep us in your prayers as the future is unknown. My heart yearns for him and desire to see our boy soon. Pray for him as this means longer stay. Thankful for the Lord, choosing him and bringing him out harm into our family.

I'm so sorry for this unexpected delay. Praying for your family and the others that have to reschedule court dates. Sometimes this adoption process feels so much harder than pregnancy & labor!! It's the unpredictability of it all and uncertain placement date! But, yes, God's timing is the best. It's so hard to rest in that sometimes....

Praying you are rescheduled and pass before closing....

Am really praying- it makes no sense why they picked now to close but I do know that God redeems all things for our good and His glory. Praying all those with referrals will miraculously make it through.

I had a friend tell me today- it is just such a greater opportunity for other to see the Lord work and bring them home as the timing doesn't make sense to us!!

That is so incredibly disappointing. Praying that you still get through before the rainy season!

Tucker Family, I am praying that God's peace that resides with you, will overtake you and allow you the opportunity to get some rest and "me-time" during the wait. You are thought about and prayed for daily...it will go by quickly...be of good heart and spirit!

we are with you and praying for you as well. Our little ones are probably in the same room as they are the same age : )

Hey, I am TOTALLY with you!

God doesn't get affected by closures, trainings, things like that. He is either using this as part of His BEST plan, or He is going to do some great work and get the court ruling done BEFORE the closures. I so want to encourage BOTH of us to trust Him and pray for Him to keep fighting for us. And trust Him regardless of what we see.
